About Lakeside!
Lakeside is a great family vacation destination.   The quaint Victorian village with approximately 800 cottages (many are Victorian) is a step back in time.  Lakeside is on Lake Erie and is located on the Marblehead Peninsula about half way between Cleveland and Toledo, Ohio.  It is a gated community for a ten week period from mid June through Labor Day, offering educational and recreational opportunities as well as many inspirational activities and experiences.  Programs are held in its 3000 seat auditorium every night.  It is a Chautauqua community with activities and workshops for all ages.
